When I just joined MS, I read a lot of opinions on how members should write reviews. The jist of all of them were -write to the point & at the end, DO give an opinion - Recommended or Not Recommended. This is one movie, I really cannot give an opinion on.
I personally felt the movie is not THAT bad, it deals with real feelings. I believe every 15 year old boy goes through the same thing. They always have a crush on either a neighbour, a school teacher, or even an aunty!
Even the relationship between Manisha Koirala & her boyfriend (played by Ranvir) is realistic. In todays urban life, many partners are not necessarily companions.
But at the same time, Its very very slow. And its not made for the masses. I guess its targetted at only the urban movie goers.
About the controversy, it was totally unnecessary. Like someone else has written, Manishas scenes are equally tantalizing.
Depends on how you look at it really, many guys I have spoken with feel that it portrays an integral part of growing up (like my husband - whose opinion eventually affects mine, I am sorry it sounds pretty pathetic, like I am really dumb or something) At the same time, I am 25 and female - you know, its a creepy feeling!!
Overall, I dont know if my opinion has helped, but I still Recommend everyone to watch it atleast once - to form your OWN opinion.
