Awesome Family TV show written by Chinmay Mandalekar and Manaswini Lata Ravindra and directed by Satish Rajwade. Lead roles, Ghana and Radha are acted by Swapnil joshi and mukta barve. The show is the story of a boy and a girl with a very different approach towards their life and career.
The boy, Ghanashyam Kale(Swapnil Joshi) has an American Dream, and desperately want to shift in USA. The girl, Radha Desai(Mukta Barve), is working in an advertising agency and living with her father. Radha’s father is a single parent. Both of them did not want to be married for their own reasons, and this in fact became the reason of their contract marriage.
They were getting pressure from both their families because of their age. Radha has already rejected 71 boys and Ghana has rejected 64 girls. To get rid of all this, they both decided to get marry with each other for a period of 1 year. Radha was never been taken care so much other then her father, so all these caring, loving from ghana’s family was new for her. Slowly she started liking all this and eventually both of them fall into love with each other.
But no one was ready to accept this fact, as they were bound with their goals. Radha was a straightforward girl, it was impossible for her to stay away from Ghana so she confessed her love in front of Ghana. Ghana on the other hand loved her but was not ready to leave his America’s Dream. At the end of the year Ghana gets selected by an IT company who were ready to send him to America. Now, it was his decision to stay with his family and radha or to fly away to America. But the love for Radha did not allowed him to accept the company’s deal, he rejected it and accepted the love for radha and his family. This show was very popular because of the acting of all the team members of Eka Langnachi dusri gosht. The show is of just 192 episodes unlike other daily soaps. In fact people were complaining, why the show ended so early. Unlike other serials which normally shows the fighting between family members, cursing each other, wearing all heavy ornaments even though not needed, this show did not had any of these things. The family resembles a simple middle class family living happily together. During the award ceremony of ‘Z marathi’ channel, none of the characters of this serial were nominated, because each one of them were the best. It was the best serial I have ever seen. I am such a big fan of this serial that recently I have started watching this serial on youtube as well.
