Everyone who comes gateway of India in mumbai wanna go to the elephanta caves.so me too.so I along with my wife went to the elephanta caves.the first I would like to say is that we have to go by boats near gateway of India.and the journey is about of around 45 minutes.and they dont provide the lifeguards jackets.the boats are old and functions on very old systems.anything can happen there.and second things this place is not as special as people use to say.there is nothing special to see.its very dirty place.and at elephanta caves you will be charged double for every thing u wanna buy.from water bottle to all edible things.there are few old caves those are not in good condition.don’t knw why this place is so popular in people’s mind.
