Eleven Minutes

Paulo Coelho is surely one of my favorite authors. Having read Alchemist and Veronika... It was a pleasant change to a totally different topic. As has been explained in other reviews it’s the story of a prostitute, her beliefs and thoughts. So let me not write again what the story line is about but just my bottom line.

I believe its an excellent read. The key to like or appreciate any novel is to identify with it. Other wise the novel is just another one. So probably people who go through the same thought process( you dont ahve to be a Pros.. to do that) in a general sense would surely appreciate it.

The whole novel is articulately written and the best part are the diary writings she does. They are the parts where you have to sit back and explore your thoughts. Provides a whole different way of looking at things. A great read especially for people who think prostitution is some bad evil etc( This would again lead to a huge debate) as it gives an alternative view point.

So I would say a must read. Dont think twice before buying it. The description of sex scenes towards the end might get a bit boring and look unnecessary as well.
