I am one of the many corporate women, who have to be at their presentable bests at any given point of time. Its cut-throat competition and impressions make a lot of difference. I had a laborious task, of going through not just a hoard of cosmetics from zillions of companies, but also the right application techniques. I was always certain of just one thing - **I never wanted to look made-up!*
One of my many weekend wanderings through the malls, led me to discover Elizabeth Arden products. Instinctively, I am wary of expensive brands. I am not convinced that the exhorbitant amounts necessarily ensure care for my skin. And I am even more wary of pushy sales attendants convincing me that every product is flawless. **I believe I am the best judge of my skin.** Obviously until I am in the clinic of a certified dermatologist!
I liked the simple and elegant packaging of the Elizabeth Arden products. They did tempt me to take the first steps towards trying them out. I spent almost an hour at the Elizabeth Arden counter! Finally, I decided I absolutely had to pick up the foundation and the transluscent powder!
For multiple reasons:
a) I read somewhere once, that **the basic use of a foundation is to be your second skin** and provide a canvas on which you can then paint picture perfect faces. I agree. I found my second skin at Elizabeth Arden.
b) I love the ease with which the foundation blends seamlessly into my skin, making it look all natural
c) I loved the fact that I could choose from an array of foundations - liquids, powders, creams. ones with moisture enhancers for dry skin, some even with SPF protections!
The transluscent powder, with its easy apllication brush and compact packaging has made my life easy over the years! Not only does it not gave me the slightly caked up look which comapct powders can sometimes give, **it makes my skin feel light and free of heavy make-up**.
Once hooked I have yet to change this brand of choice.
