I had planned to have my team outing at Emerald Isle. After seeing the website we found the activities on Outbound Learning to be interesting. But it was later that we came to know that they arrange for a third party vendor to run the show. So the FIRST promise of our people would take care of the activity goes into the air.The SECOND promise about the food being served on time went for a toss the time we checked in. They said, there are too many people who have come for the breakfast so kindly wait. The same continued for lunch and the dinner, its delayed and the left overs are served. The food taste is pathetic that one would not be interested to have it again.
The THIRD promise as expected remained unfulfilled till the end of the day when they said, the resort facilities would be given only to you. Starting from the games till the swimming, everything was asked either to share or negotiate. I’m not sure how the unplanned guests were given more privileges when we had done the booking a week in advance.The FOURTH one is the most unexpected. The rates were changed and when asked was informed, there was more usage than expected.(People had more food than what they expected).The last one disappointing happened after few months of the extremely disappointing service.
I had requested them to provide me a duplicate bill for the event that we held at the resort. After much hassles the incharge(Mr. Ashok) agreed to get me the duplicate bills. But there was no much response and I used to call him frequently regarding the same. Later it went on for 2-3 weeks and at last started he to abuse me. He used filthy language saying “You are Cheat’s”, “Your Company is full of Fraud’s” and “I also know about your organisers”. “You guys come from other states to Bangalore for survival and don’t receive/respect our resort.”
I am a Bangalorean and can do anything to you. He was literally warning, “Now I am on my vacation and once I return will take of you guys”. I am feeling sorry for encouraging him for our company.The worst experience ever had with anyone and the worst place I’ve been.
