EPSON Call Center Services are bad!

My name is Apoorva M. Sheth.I am from India, Mumbai. I was deciding to buy "Epson Stylus C58" printer and I needed some information on the product before buying it, so gave a call on a Toll free number: 1800 425 0011 which gets connected to Bangalore in India and I got Mr. Yaseen Alam over the phone. This representative didn’t seemed to be knowledgeable enough & it seems like he was trying to misguide me in regards to the information which he was providing.


The service provided to me was not good at all which further forced me to think that if this is the kind of service I will be receiving from an EPSON Technical Support Executive over the phone, what will happen if I buyed this printer. This representative was not replying back in a proper manner. I asked Mr. Yaseen if Epson Stylus C58 is VISTA compatible, and he says "No"! & says that drivers for EPSON Stylus C58 has not yet been released.


Everybody who is reading this article can have a look at the below link:https://epson.co.in/epson/drivers/driver_download.htm?dc=1&mode=3&m=false&catid=1&pid=999 , it clearly says "Stylus C58 Printer Driver for Windows XP / 2000 / Vistav6.1a".So, why did this representative gave me a false answer. I also tried helping this representative by taking him to the above link where I can show him that drivers for EPSON C58 for VISTA has been released but he did not co-operated. After this, Mr. Yaseen hung the call without asking the customer if he requires any further help.


I had some more questions to ask him and now, they are left unresolved. Prior to Yaseen, I had got another EPSON Representative over the phone (I am unable to recollect his name at the moment), but he was also not very helpful, & for all of your kind information, he also hung the call without seeking customer’s permission. It seems like EPSON is training their representative to hangup the call if he/she is unable to resolve the query of the customer.


This is really shocking and at the same time, disgusting!Then, I tried contacting on the same Toll Free number for about 3 to 4 times, but nobody were interested in answering the call. Then, on the same evening, I had once again called up the same Toll free number and again got Mr. Yaseen on the phone and as soon as I reminded Yaseen that he hangup the call on the same afternoon, this executive, without any shame or guilt feeling, straight away stopped talking, it became a dead air on the phone for few mins and then hung the call.


Then, I tried calling the same Toll Free number but no response. I request all of you not to buy any of the EPSON product as their Call Center service in Bangalore sucks!!! and at the end of the day, you will just get too much worried about how you will be receiving help for your EPSON product?I had also sent an email with the above information to EPSON but these people did not care to reply back to me email. Henceforth, I am no longer interested in buying any of the EPSON products. Instead, I will go for HP or Lexmark printer.
