I just want to close my bank account as I am being charged for debit card charges for a zero balance account.
For this purpose, I contacted the customer support team on the banks mobile app.
The banks mobile app support team told me that they couldnt honor the closure request here.
For account closure, the customer must register and login to net banking and then follow the video chat process.
But after following the above process many times, I was not able to contact any banking officers because the display message was still waiting for a bank officer.
After that, I contacted the banks Twitter Support team, who, once again, refused to assist me, preferring to fill out an inquiry form rather than resolve my issue.
In the meantime, I also called the customer care support team and explained the situation. Here also, the scenario was the same & here I was surprised by one false response; I was told that their team updated in the system that they could not hear my voice & could not see my video wherever as per the display message: No bank officers were on that video call.
After experiencing the above mentioned situations in this modern era, I am confused that some banks are still working like old government banks without any past failure learning.
They dont care for customers, and, later on, customers dont care for them either.
So again, this bank is not recommended for those who want better customer service and better experiences.
