I grew up with such books as *Eragon*, the others being *Artemis Fowl*, *Harry Potter* and *Famous Five*.*Eragon* had a special place in my heart because of its magical tendency towards a fantastical journey in a fantastical world filled with heroes fighting for the general good and the villains fighting for evil and perversion. Much like Tolkien’s *Lord of the Rings* Paolini’s world is one steeped in magic and mystical creatures: Elves, Ra’zac, Shade, Dragons and many others. This book is the first of the trilogy Inheritance Cycle series by Paolini the others being *Eldest* and *Brisingr*. Being the first in the series it is the beginning of a journey to any young or old reader into the world of Eragon and his dragon Saphira. No spoilers. Go read. Enjoy!
