I chose the Ericsson T-28 World phone mainly due to its compact size and its voice recognition capabilities.
Since using it, I have also learned to appreciate its clarity and extra features. People I am talking to cannot believe I am on a cell phone. It is extremely clear. Even better than my home 900 MHz cordless phone.
I use it as an alarm clock and timer almost as often as I use it as a phone. I have noticed only two problems with it. Flipping it open with one hand is an acquired skill. I have to hold it just right or it wont open. Also, on two occasions, the smart card lost contact with the phone. I had to remove the battery and adjust the position of the card, then it reloaded the information off the card and worked fine.
This phone is number 1 on the radiation list, so that is also a bit of a concern. I am just hoping that since there has never been a proven link between cell phone radiation and health that there is no problem.
