Mind you guys. Ethechie is trying to manipulate its ratings with fake review. The company has 65% review with 1 star (the genuine ones) and 32% reviews with 5/4 stars (paid fake reviews).. All these 5/4 star reviews are paid reviews by the company to increase their ratings. These guys have absolutely no ethics and will do anything to sell.. I can bet my money that this company will close down within 3 years thanks to the service they offer
The moment you call just dial for Laptop repair services, youll immediately get a call from the Etechies team. I did not call them.. They called me .. Wow how pro active.. I had a very specific request which I had insisted on the call with the sales rep. I specifically told him that I am flying abroad on Saturday and I need my Laptop back by Friday .. I told him if he cannot deliver by Friday then NOT to take the laptop... he promised it will be returned on Friday... Even when the called Engineer came to pick up the Laptop, I reinstated my request that if they cannot deliver by Friday then do not pick up the laptop.. the sales called up again and promised that it will be delivered by Friday.. On Friday morning (three days later or 72 hours later) when I called back theircustomer care rep told that I will get a call from an Engineer in an hour.. Two hours later no call from anyone.. I called back again to some other customer care rep.. who again promised that Ill receive a call from an Engineer. Two hours later still no call.. By now I began to realize that your entire call center team has been well trained to lie and get the customer off the call.. No one gives a damn what the customer wants they just want to the end the call somehow.. when the customer will call back again he will be someone else headace.. Amazing strategy that these guys use..
I again called 2 hours later .. This time I insisted I want to talk to the customer care reps supervisor.. He tried all the tricks in the book to put me off the call... But I insisted and hung on.. the bugger kept me on hold for more than 10 mins and finally said hes connecting me to his supervisor.. Some guy came on the call claiming to be the floor supervisor .. (now I believe he was just another rep acting as a supervisor) Mr Supervisor promised and then guaranteed that ill get a call from the engg within 3 hours ..Well as expected no one called. By now I have given hope.. I realized no point calling anyone at you friendly call center.. they are just here to get the customer off the call.. Well Friday is over and I still dont have my Laptop.. Tomorrow ill be flying abroad and without my Laptop.. This is one of the best treatment I ever got from any company.. These guys have very highly trained liars attending calls and calling to get customers .. May be they should have invested more on Engineers than a bunch of call center execs who have no clue on what they are doing..
I am now looking at the possibility of filing a case against them at the consumer forum.. May be then an Engineer will call back...
