I recently had to get my macbook cleaned. So, I searched on the net and theirs was the first ad. So, I filled the form and got a very quick sales call from them.
The person on the phone was very glib talker and smooth liar. Some of the statements: 1. Our founder is from Google. 2. The processor has two pole - north pole and south pole. 3. If you make a payment in next 30 mins, you will get a discount of 20% because we will save taxes.
After evaluating the conversation, I realized that these people are fake and searched on net about etechies. Thanks to the reviews on etechies, I understood that these people are liars.
In the meantime, one of my friends also got in touch with them for his sound card related problem. They charged him 800/- upfront, kept the PC for 2 weeks and returned unfixed after lot of followups.
Their business mantra is like this:
Spend a lot on Google Ads and Sales team.
Charge people upfront.
Never fix anything and return the computer as is to customer and tell some technical difficulties.
Make customer thankful to them because they returned the computer.
So, even if 1% of total population fell under their scam, they will still make a lot of money.
