ETV is one of the oldest channels of telugu.It almost entertained people for 22 years and approaching its 23 rd anniversary.We know that generally most of the regional television channels wont withstand the industry more than 15 years and sometimes we even notice they mingle with other huge channels for avoiding shut down( For instances maa tv was acquired by star unit) .The only reason for etv to withstand in this industry is, It recognises all age groups and entertain them accordingly.
1) For instances at my home my grandfather want to watch old movies but none of the tv channels are interested in playing old movies because they wont get business.but Etv plays old movies.The best time to see the old movies in Etv is during Navarathi’s .
2) Now coming to our mama’s.today no women in household are not missing daily serials.whatever there profession may be.they may be teacher. employee.homemaker.she want her serial to let her tensions to go.Etv is created history in daily serials.By the way my grandmother is huge fan of Etv serials.( For example: -Adadhe adharam, Abhishekam, Na peru meenakshi) Even I grown by watch serials like Lady detective, Andham, Eenati ramayanam etc.And programs like Abhiruchi are really useful.
3) Now coming to middle age gents.i guess they are busy with there work or job whatever it may be.All they want is to know about world.which means quality news upadates.Etv is 100% best in that.My dad wont go to sleep without watching Etv news.Pure, short and breif news updates
4) Coming to youth.what not many enterntaining programs like Padutha teyyaga., Jabardhast, Extra Jabardasth, Cash, Dhee, Ali tho saradhaga.etc etc with high TRP ratings .Most important progarm for our ladies .STAR MAHILA ( 4000+ ) .and Anchor Suma.
5) Last but not least people who are searching a platform for their talent.yes its true that most of the fine choreographers and Singers of telugu industry are coming from programs of ETV like Dhee , padutha tiyyaga and Comedians from Jabardhast and extra Jabardhast.
I think you already got a clarity why I told that Etv is evergreen best channel to telugu people.I think it is the best channel for all age groups .and best platform for talented people.I thank ETV a lot and I hope they will entertain us most in coming years.
