We have been using agauguard about 4 years. We purchased total duo for my parents in native and geneus in bangalore. We have very worst experience with the product and service.
We faced many problems in these 4 years and explained it few of them in below.
Once they visited for regular maintenance, the service engineer said one filter has gone and it has to be replaced. We asked that how did you find that it has gone. He was blabbering something and he could not justify for it. So, we asked to replace since it is under AMC which is 9 months old. Service guy immediately said that sorry sir, I will replace it but it will be charged because it is not covered under warranty or AMC.
Though, we accepted to pay after long fight with them, they didnt change it immediately. They said that it will be done by next day. But, they replaced all the filters after 4 months by renewing AMC for next year.
We have been suffering for every year whenever it comes for AMC. They charge about 4600 for filters change and maintenance. But, they dont say what and all covered under warranty. If you ask, they service engineer or sales person wont have the details and if they have details also they dont let you know. We asked to replace many parts in 4 years, but none of the things are changed for free of cost. Never ever go for AMC.
Start of this month, they came and changed filters and done some maintenance work. Now, it is taking more than 14 hours to fill the tank in total duo model. We raised complaint and they are yet to solve.
We had asked a tube change because of water leakage about 2 years ago. They have not replaced it till today. They are saying some stupid reasons for past 2 years. Since it is happening in my native, my parents are not able to handle it. I have escalated this issue to higher level management too. All efforts are waste. God only knows when it will be resolved.
I have renewed AMC on November 2014 in bangalore. As per their policy, they are supposed to come for maintenance every 4 months. They have not turned up till now though its completed 5 months.
If you check their product manual, they have clearly instructed how to clean the machine by the service engineers. But, none of the service engineers know about that. They just come and wash in the water. That is called maintenance. This can be done ourself.
These are all the few incident which I faced. There are still many.
Though, I have invested about 40K for products and 4600 for AMC about 4 years, I am struggling for good service till date. So, request you all think many times before opting Aquaguard. They are just cheaters. Very worst quality products and service.
