Pathetic Customer Care and Horrible Sales Dept.

This is my experience of getting a sales demo scheduled.


Currently planning to upgrade filter to an RO enabled one, after using a classic model of Acquaguard for 7 years.


After some market research, we shortlisted Aquaguard GENEUS series along with couple of similar products from competitors. My first call was to Aquaguard and this is my horrible experience so far.


16/Jul/2013


Avoided to fill in the online form as it was too lengthy to request a demo session.


Opted for SMS option and received response with contact details(9422317122) of Sales Specialist near to my locality.


Tried to reach the number 3 times, however, no response.


17/Jul/2013


16:25 Dialled Customer Care# to check my request status. Mr. Mahesh came on line after waiting for 3 minutes. Then, without giving any response he put the line on hold. I disconnected call after waiting for another 8 minutes.


16:36 Dialled Customer Care# again. Mr. Rai Saheb came on line after 4 minutes. Took my mobile number; informed the system is not working today(a common excuse my all call centers. High time these guys change the standard excuses) and to wait for a call from the concerned department. Then I requested to connect me to the floor manager for escalation. Again, I had to disconnect line after waiting for 7 minutes.


16:44 Dialled Pune sales# 7498201333 - Automated response that none of "Sales Specialist" is available to take my call; again after a long wait.


Received same SMS as that of yesterday.


16:51 Dialled 9422317122. Call was not answered.


IF THIS IS THE ATTITUDE TO SELL A PRODUCT; I AM TRUELY AFRAID OF THEIR A.S.S(After Sale Service).


Can somebody help with escalation matrix?


Meantime, SP has an office in our premises; thinking of taking an appointment to discuss the apathy with SP directly.


NB: I have not used the product; hence, low ratings.
