I bought an Aquagard Water purifier(AG-TOTAL INOVA, 1221703392039946) from a sales office in SanjayNagar(No. 13, 2ND Floor, Amarjyothi Layout, SanjayNagar Main Road, Above FoodWorld Bangalore:560094, Ph-08023513888) on 30/05/09
Sales person(Mr Raghu Naik) took the cash from me (Rs8850), however he said he will send purifier along with bill next day.
I received next day a Water purifier in a box with no warranty, bill or literature. Delivery person said he would ask office personnel to send these later.
But sales person never called up. After lot of calling up to the office, finally Mr Raghu Naik arrived at my house with bill dated 15.06.2009 but I havent recieved any warranty card/ usage booklet yet. When I enquired about discrepancy in dates the office representative Mr Murari told me that it is because of processing time????.However I was a little suspicious with the conduct of the people involved.
But , being a busy person, I could not pursue further.After a few days, on 03/09/09, I got a service call from the company and he said he would be servicing the product. He immediately saw and told me that the product was second hand. Some sales companies sell customers new models in exchange for their old and dispose it off using this method.
I am furious. I am planning to take this matter to the bitter end. Planning to launch a Police complaint against the sales company and Eureka Forbes in a case of cheating. But I thought I will write this mail before that. Are Eureka Forbes even aware of such cases??Please advise me on my course of action!!!PS: To all buyers, beware of sales companies selling you second hand products from Eureka Forbes.
