Bad customer service

It is an aesthetically built and attractive product to add exrtra glamour to any kitchen.


I bought one in 2005, used it for a year, before it became dead. Almost in a year, its machine/board and filters turned out to be defective which means a replacement cost of Rs 3050. It was not economical to spend that much amount on a product costing Rs 7840. To take care of such costs, the company offered me to take up a maintenance service contract at Rs 1800.00 for 2 years, which I denied.


So it remains as an idle piece in my kitchen. Except sales people, none from their service department contacted me as yet. Inspite of that the company sales staff knock at my door almost every week for selling their  new products. I now use a simple Water Purifier, "Purieit’  from Hindustan Liver which works without electricity and it is working fine. Once my product became defective, Ereka Forbes, never bothered to enquire whether it works or any thing they can do help us to put back the unit in working condition. This review stands cancelled.  It is working. I have no complaint.
