I am currently the owner of AcquaGuard I-Nova machine which was purchased in Mumbai in Oct 2005.
After moving to Bangalore, I brought this machine along with me to use with borewell water in our society. When my guests complained about bitter taste of water, I decided to upgrade to AcquaGuard RO purifier.
The problem:
I had renewed my AMC contract for AcquaGuard i-Nova with Eureka Forbes in Jan 2010 for 3 years (from Jan 2010 to Jan 2013) for Rs. 2, 850.
Sales dealer who visited my residence last week for RO machine demo says that Eureka Forbes will not adjust my current AMC for Rs. 9, 990 Reviva machine but only for Rs. 13, 500 machine.
Even I buy Reviva machine for Rs. 9, 990 instead of more expensive models, I am going to pay extra for annual maintenance! Therefore, it should make perfect business sense for Eureka Forbes to allow transfer of i-Nova AMC to Reviva model!
I find this policy very customer unfriendly and designed to drive away customers to other brands!!
