I am writing about the Aqua Guard Royale machine and not the one specified in the header.
On 27th March, I lodged a complaint (no. 66081816) about my machine leaking again. The same happened a month earlier wherein I had to wait for a month for the complaint to be attended to. And then, all the technician did was apply teflon tape and left it at that. Since he did not rectify the cause of the leak, it has started up again.
This time again when no one turned up, I spoke with the Area Head, Mr. Ishwaran Iyer who promised me that my complaint would be attended to immediately. A few days later and no visit from Eureka Forbes, so I call Mr. Iyer again. He put me through a confererence call with Mr. Sunil Chavan, proprietor of Koperkhairne service centre who promised to have someone sent over by the evening of Apr 4th. Around 5pm, a technician came and he seemed totally clueless of how to resolve this issue. He spent over 2 hrs over it and removed the valve that was at the bottom of the unit and temporarily stopped the leak. A half hour after he was gone, the leak started again.
I spoke with Mr. Iyer the next day, on the 5th of Apr who assured me that if Mr. Chavan would not handle this issue then he would have the Vashi office take care of it. A short while later, I got a call from Chavan who spoke to me as if he was totally unaware of this complaint. He said something about sending someone over and before I could ask when, he cut the line. After a while, I tried calling Mr. Iyer but coudnt get across. Immediately, I get a call from Mr. Chavan telling me that as my unit is old, all the plastic parts need to be replaced. Therefore, he has to pick up the unit from my place and take it to the warehouse to make the replacements. When I asked him how long it would take, he said that it would take about 2-3 days. I understood that he was doing this just to harass me.
He kept telling me that this is an old model and he normally does not accept service for this machine. If this was the case, then why does Eureka Forbes renew my AMC every year??? I somehow get the impression that Eureka Forbes is working for this service centre and not vice versa.
After a while my husband got in touch with Mr. Iyer and conveyed Mr. Chavans communication to him. We know that once he takes the unit, we will not see him for at least one month. Therefore, my husband requested him to give a replacement unit for the time that our unit is being serviced. Mr. Iyer said that he would take care of it. Since then no sign from any one.......is anybody listening????
