AquaGuard Reviva RO Smart

We had probably purchased this product out of haste, trusting the compnay and the reputation of their previous products. It was after several repeated requests we could get it installed in our new home. We were highly delighted and impressed by the different features of the product. This did not last for a long time.

The product boasts of a FREE FLOWING PURIFICATION and atleast 6-7 litres of pure water per hour.

Never fall prey to these. You can see that the water output is only drop-by-drop.0.5 ltr(half litre) per hour. This product never worked. Now, after less than a year after it was installed, it has stopped working.

The after-sales service is eqaully pathetic. We had complained about this problem thru the customer care phone lines, web-site and also personally visited their office many times. We probably wasted some more money on these. There was a service engineer who had called up, came to our residence, examined and explained us that the product would never work the way it was explained to us by the Sales Person. He explained us that - IF it works, it would NEVER give free flow purification. Forgot to mention, IF it works then for every 1ltr of pure water, at least 10 ltrs of water is wasted thru the waste water outlet.

The Service Engineer had tried out several subversive tactics stating that their Sales Persons had clearly explained that this is the way it would work and this product requires that the overhead tank to be at least 100feet height.

Why would anyone purchase the product IF the sales persons themselves would explain that the product in such a way? We have got the height of the over-head tank, it was well above 150ft.

Subsequently, we had lodged many complaints. But the I think once the money has changed hands, the company had also changed to its true colors.

My advice, never buy this or any of the products from Eureka Forbes. This is not anymore like the customer-oriented company as it once used to be.

If you are interested in purchasing a water purifier for your home, please do not purchase AquaGuard RO Smart.the product is worthless. Never fall for the sales talk.

Dear Mr. Sanjay SomrajWe recently came across your complaint through mouthshut and sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused.AG RO SMARTgives 6-7 litres / hr – that is correct, however it requires min 0.6kg/m2 of input water pressure. As the overhead tank is situated at aheight of 150 feet the water pressure in your house is likely to beadequate. The water flow from AG RO SMARTdoes appear to be drop by drop. This is how most RO purifiers work. Asyou are getting only 0.5 litres /hr there does seem to be a problem. There could be an issue with the pressure, condition of the filters orthe membrane. Possibly the filter or the membrane may be chocked.Ourservice executive based in Hyderabad shall contact you and fix anappointment at your convenience to resolve the issue. Request you toshare with me your address and contact details (mobile or landline no)at the earliest. As far as wasting of water is concerned:The wasted water is reject water and contains harmful contaminants andcannot be used for drinking. This water can be stored and can beutilized for cleaning the house. The Percentage recovery of pure waterfor RO water purifiers is approximately 25% and is how the ROtechnology works. We have adopted a presence on an openpublic consumer forum like Mouthshut.com which shows our intention toresolve the service and product challenges our customers are facing.Do write in to me on this forum for any feedback or assistance in future.RegardsRupali ChandaManager – Corporate Communication
