I am an existing Eureka Forbes customer. I bought the Eureka RO GREEN water purifier on 13th June 2013. At the time of purchase, the sales Rep M. GNANAVEL(9049985) didnt told us about replacing the filter once a year. In fact, when I inquired about the AMC, he suggested not to go for AMC, instead we change the filter after 3-4 years. His number provided to us was 9986542527/8123025211 & his office number is 080 -30251592/70/62/41. However few days back, we faced some issue with our RO purifier & in this regard, we submitted a request via SMS service on 19th Aug.
The service number is 0077780910. We got a call from service department person on 21st Aug & he told us that the filter needs to be changed as its more than 12 months old, for which I have to pay 4400+service charge. He also told us that the filter needs to be changed every year.Now my question is why we were not informed about it at the time of purchase?Doesnt it fall under unethical business practice category? The said sales guy never picked my call, once his job was over.
