Company wants all customers to sign AMC

I bought the Aquaguard Total Infinity water purifier but within a year the trouble started. The unit stopped working.

The service ppl came and changed the mother board and asked us to sign a annual maintenance contract after giving a bill of  Rs1200. Another Rs1450 for maintenance contract they said. So I said I would like to wait a few months. But the unit stopped working within 2 months of replacing motherboard ! Now they had us where they wanted us.

When we called again they said they cannot fix it free as it was not under contract. I said it has been just two months since you replaced the motherboard ! Is there no guarantee? They say no. Not unless you are under Annual Maintenance contract. So I reluctantly agreed for contract since I had no alternative. Repair charges are extra they say. Inspite of having it repaired  the unit just two months ago.

So this is their game. Somehow get all customers to sign annual maintenance contract and collect Rs1450 from all customers every year for a regular income This has just happened today.I am waiting for them to arrive to see how much they will fleece out of me

I dread calling them when it conks out again after paying them upfront. There is no peace of mind purchasing from this company. Buyers beware !
