We have been using this water filter for the past three years. This filter has four stage purification system. It is a gravity based water purifier hence does not need electricity. Only six months before when it was being in use, I tested the TDS of the purified water of this filter. I was amazed to see the result. The the water is purified, still the TDS level of the water was 365. My intention is to say that this purifier does not meet the goal of water purification as we need.
The cartridge of the filter lasts for merely 4 or 5 months. Each time I had to spend Rs 500 in replacement of the old cartridge.
One important fact about this filter is that it is not able to filter the heavy metal particles present in water. This does not also kill or hibernate the germs and bacteria present in raw water.
It is not so easy to use because every time you have to fill the upper jar of the filter as there is no tap connection system is there in this filter. The filter body is strong and durable, but the tap attached to the lower jar is not of good quality. The cleaning of the cartridge as well as the inner filter body is not so easy. On the other hand the maintenace relating to the replacemewnt of the cartridge is expensive.
