AquaSure Xtra (18 ltrs)

This review is regarding AquaSure Xtra(18 ltrs) which I would not recommend to buy.

This is a bad choice from cost perspective, I cannot comment on filtering mechanism as this is first filter I used.

This filter works as follows:

(1) It has a microbe filter on the top chamber(9 ltr capacity) which removes any of the visible particles or mud.

(2) It then has the carbon filter which before water enters the lower chamber(9 ltr capacity); this is supposed to remove any bacteria, virus or micro particles

(3) Water can then be collected from the nozzle connected to lower chamber

I opted this as I felt is cheaper than other models, it costed Rs.1300/-

But within 4 months:  Had to change microbe(Rs.100), carbon filter(Rs.350) & nozzle(not covered in warranty Rs.120/-) Hence my total investment with 6 months of usage has been Rs.2000/-; yet to know how long this would work out. But for Rs.2000/- you would get other decent filters.

Also you really cannot store 18 ltrs of water as it leaks out after 9 ltrsHence I advice not to invest in this.
