I purchased a Euroclean wet & dry vacuum cleaner in 2009. It had been sparingly used, but recently started giving problems when it started to emit a burning smell and stop suddenly. This is out of warranty, but I remembered their message "Your friend for life" and raised a complaint #75284369 dtd 28/2/2014.
I was initially told that someone would contact me "Within 24 working hours." After 9 days, I am still waiting for that call! I have been following up almost daily with their service number. Every day I am told that the the complaint would be escalated and some one would contact me "today!"
I was given the contact of the service center manager. (HSR Layout, Bangalore) On calling the cell number, some lady picked up and told me that the technician was "on vacation" and would be back after 2-3 days.
When I told that I have been given the contact number of the Regional Manager by the service desk, and I intend to escalate this, they immediately changed their statement to, "It would definitely be attended on Monday."
I had a decent experience with Aquaguard in the past, but from now on I definitely wouldnt recommend Eureka Forbes to others.
