I purchased this product from direct sales person who came to my home place (Chennai- Pallikaranai) for Rs.11999. When I purchased, sales person told 1 year warranty & life time free service.
Within one year I got burn smell from the product and I first called the customer care on 8.3.2014 morning and person told within 24 hrs ill get call from service engineer but I didnt get call even after 3 working days I again called customer care on Tuesday evening 11.03.2014. They said they are not able to find history of my previous case so they created one more case and again they promised service engineer will call me within 24 hrs. I waited till Wednesday evening but no one called so I called customer care again this time they told they created one more escalated case and same word, again I called on Thursday, again same promise and this time she said Ill get call in 2 hrs, no callback in 2 hrs so called again.
On Friday 14.03.2014 morning I got call and service engineer told if burning smell then it should be motor problem so Rs.2500+ Rs.350 service charge because the product crossed 1 year. I was telling him if it is motor problem then please check if it is human mistake then Ill bear the cost but it it is mechanical / electrical problem why I have to pay because it got failed in 1 year but he didnt agree.
And to waive off service charge I have to bring this product to their service station, then only they will not charge service charges otherwise I have to bear Rs.350.
