This review is for Autovista - Kalina, CST road. So I take my 2010 registered Zen Estilo for a minor left panel dent job. They said it needs denting and repainting. Said okay, for a dent as small as that, they asked for around 4- 5000k & when I said I’ll come back sometime later, they bought it down immediately to 3, 000 including tax. I asked for the rear door handle to be painted as well, taking the cost up to 3300!
I return after 2 days only to discover bubbles in the painted job as well as small dents! So they can’t paint plus put smaller dents? Insane. Anyways, I pointed this out & they suggested I get a polish job done (on call he had already mentioned they are in the process of polishing the car.)
I went ahead& reminded him of it, to which he realized his fault and asked for another days time. The rear door handle again was shabbily done and when pointed out to the paint guy, he said he was simply asked to apply a layer over it! Now is that professionalism? You’ve charged me for a job and you aren’t doing it respectfully?
Finally the next day I went and collected the car and took it. Post 5 days of usage, it was evident the shade didn’t match, furthermore, the paint of the rear handle had bubbles all over it! Poor job.
My misery doesn’t end there. Just a week after the job was done, a taxi fellow rammed into me head on and I had a damaged Bonnet and fender. I went to them and they gave me a quote of 45 thousand plus taxes! They said the fender assembly, headlights, ac and what all had gone, when it was evident it wasn’t the case.
I smelt something fishy and went to a reputed repair station at Malad and got the entire job done in 10k. Now where’s 45k!
What a rip off. Never go to Autovista Kalina unless you’re desperate.
