Be careful before taking any insurance from EXIDE Life insurance. I also mentioned all contact nos who spoke to me to sell their products.
I have enrolled on 02nd Dec, 2017. First I got call from POORNIMA(8147298973), she explained about policy. I requested for more details and then she sent DARSHANNA(9538840077) to explain me with illustration document. I also signed on insurance form and on illustration. He told me whatever has been mentioned in that paper I would get all these details in my insurance bond documents. He also told me that I will get Rs 6, 00, 000/- health insurance till end of policy term of 15 years. So, I have given my parent details and my family details to add. I agreed to take Rs 1, 00, 000/- premium of policy and based on 5% discount I gave Rs 95, 000/- . I got policy document on 21st Dec, 2017. Then I found all the details are different. Immediately I contacted DARSHANNA, next day 23rd Dec’17 he came to my home and checked. He also agreed and asked me write an application to rectify all those details. Then he took my insurance document and application letter. He also committed me that he will only handover corrected policy document to me personally. Then I got call from JYOTHI(9964381854) and confirmed backend team got my policy document to correct. I also asked about my health insurance document. She told I will be getting both the documents very soon.
From that day I am following them to get update. After few days I called customer care and asked about my policy correction. They told that they didn’t get any document to correct and informed me to report immediately any branch office with all my documents to get my money refund. But I don’t have any document as DARSHANNA took to get them corrected. I also requested him to handover my document, so that I can produce them to get my amount refunded. He didn’t respond. I just attached few document/communication copies to support my experience.
Few weeks before I escalated then finally they agreed to refund me. I got my amount. Please find all the details from attachments. Be careful. Even they tried to suppress me by sending notice. But I did fight till my money has been refunded.
