Where else in the would do you pay Rs.140/- for a 3 hr parking space?
Recently I went to the EA Mall in Royapettah to shop for a couple of hrs. I checkout of the mall after 3hrs and 20min and paid Rs.140/- for parking.
Compare this with parking charges in Mantri Mall(Malleshwaram, Bangalore), it was just Rs.40 - This was some very good shopping experience.
Compare this with parking charges in Great India Place, Noida, it is just Rs.30 for any number of hrs you spend in the mall in a day.(Shopper’s Stop, Pantaloons, and most other shops in the mall give you a refund on parking if you purchase products from them)
Above mentioned are 3 of the biggest malls in India. This seems to indicate that Chennai is the most expensive city for people to live in.
