I would like to share my first and last experience with ezeegoo. I had made my very first transaction with ezeegoo after looking at the lucerative offers from them. After going through the reviews, I have found a lot of people facing the same problem as mine. I dont know whose fault it is, i.e whether ezeegoo people or the connecting banks.
On 12th of June, I had made a purchase of 2 tickets from Hyd to Chennai and back after 2 days. I had successfully created an id for myself and made the first transaction. After making the payment from Axis Bank (online banking), well... the trouble started. After clicking the submit button, the next page flashed "Page 404". I couldnt even retrieve the transaction id as a reference.
Also my transaction page in ezeegoo was nil! I called up the customer care and a lady answered on the other side. She was helpless and hopeless with lot of sorries on behalf of ezeegoo! She told me that I need to wait for 7 working days so that incase the amount doesnt reach ezeegoo then the amount will be reverted back. But that never happened. Around 6500 got blocked and since I had to travel in another couple of days, I had to make another booking thorough makemytrip.com as they were my regular tickets providers for almost a year and I had never faced any problem even once! After 2 successful weeks of patience hanging on the last thread above a dagger, I had to make frequent calls to Axis bank, requesting them to retrive the lost amount. Axis bank is another good for nothing bank for giving late replies. I had sent a mail with all the details on 12th June and they had replied back on 3rd July!!!!. Atleast they had done the good thing by sending me the transaction id and mentioned that the amount is already sent to ezeegoo and there is nothing they can do about it!
I had sent a detailed mail to enquiry@ezeegoo1.com on the same day. I was somewhat restless and tried to chat with the customer id people and it was no use. Then I made another call to the customer care and I informed about all the mails sent. It took me nearly 26min on my mobile and I made sure that they had every detail about the transaction. After a long wait, I was finally promised that the amount will be reverted back in 7 working days from the concerned department. But I was surprised to find the entire amount back on the very next day itself in my account!!!!
I had purchased and cancelled tickets on Indian railways site (irctc.com). They are supposed to be serving major chunk of indian population. While airlines is no where near them. Railways refund the cancelled amount the very next day. But for airlines, the refund amount is paid between 18 - 21 working days!!!! Why is this delay happening? Also due to flaws in the websites on both airlines and banks, the consumers are left to fume and suffer. Is there anyway to solve this problem?
