I was quite qpprehensive at first to take their services as you are now depending on third person for safety. To add to this the driver calls and says, the locality is different and taken the duty by mistake and need to call the EZi drive office to get the driver from the locality.
When called the office and informed, the agent assured that the driver would be alloted and would get the SMS message about the status but no go. When called office and informed about the situation with only 45 mins left, I should really appreciate the efforts taken by one Ms. Bhagyalakshmi who personally requested other locality driver for the service seeing the importance of the situation. The driver was polite and did not rush into things. Unfortunately during the journey when the driver reversed the car in the pavement he bumped and there was a scratch.
When called EZi drive, was informed that driver has to incur the charges caused. When asked for an escalation, one Mr. Tapan came to rescue who spoke to the driver and agreed to pay Rs. 500 for the damage. Well it was not the driver mistake as if I could have driven then maybe because of my inexperience I would have caused more damage. I didnt want the driver to pay for the amount but informed Mr. Tapan that I dont want this driver and he promised that from now onwards that driver is blacklisted and would never come for service. This type of customer service is really commendable from a Tours and Travels company who really have a good hold on drivers. Also at the end a call comes for a feedback about the trip. Well Thumbs up!
