Non Delivery even after a month; false info always

Shameless! That is the only word I have to describe Mr.Ishraf and Mr.Senthil at the EZone at Bangalore Central at Jayanagar.


On 7th Of March 2010, I ordered an LG Washing Machine WF-T7519QS, then worth Rs.14940, and agreed to pay an advance amount of Rs. 3000. They said that they would deliver it within 8 days. I assumed 8 working days, and hence got back to them only after 12 days to enquire the status. When I called them up using the phone number on the receipt I had received, the phone went to the Home Store, and not Ezone. They gave me another phone number and asked me to call up there.


It took me some time to get to the actually get through to somebody there and when I did, I was told that the machine would come tomorrow. So, the story began. Everyday would pass without the machine coming, and I would be given some casual junk, a very ill-informed input. I had then to go out of station for a couple of weeks. So my father followed up on this. Now Mr.Ishraf changed the story to say that you should have made the full payment. The delivery is not being made because the full payment has not been made. Once you make the full payment, the machine would be delivered to you the next day.


So we made the full payment by cheque. And then the machine never arrived for the next couple of days. So my father called them again. Now they said that the cheque will take 3 days to clear! so we waited for another day, but no machine yet. And so it continued, the same shameless ill-informed excuses, reasons. The cheque is yet to clear, or it will arrive tomorrow.


After plentiful follow-ups on phone and personal visits, the excuse changed again. LG has discontinued the model without intimation, and we have no stock. Now, we asked if a similar model or next in line model can be made available. We told them  that they should make it available at the same tax rate which we had ordered the earlier machine. We made this request as I had made haste to book this machine  before the state tax rate increased based on the state budget changes.  Nobody commented on my request, and nobody chose to act at all on my now dormant case of the undelivered LG Washing Machine. Ishraf had promised he will call back. He and Senthil actually promised this atleast 5-6 times on different occasions. Their words\promises are as worthless as they probably themselves are. If these lousy jokers are not able to conduct the business they are in, they should quit it and work in a circus as clowns. They should not conduct their lousy business and waste many innocent and gullible customer’s time and money.


My father was pissed off with all this casual crap. He asked Ishraf for the brochure of the new model. Senthil promised he would send it to him at home by Friday. Which, no need to mention, he did not deliver. Shameless again.


When I returned back to Bangalore, I visited EZone to get the details. They seemed blissfully unintended to act on my case. This was Saturday 3rd April. They again started to talk about the new model. I also asked them for the details of a comparable Samsung model. I asked them for the feature details/brochures. They did not have them. I was so full of their crap that I decided to cancel their order after telling them on the face that I did not trust them or believe their words anymore. I asked for a cheque refund of my money right-away. However, again the same. No we cannot give it today as the commercial department is closed etc etc yak yak blah blah. He said he would surely deliver the cheque to my home on Tuesday the 6th April, and that I need not come personally to collect it.


Needless to say again, there was no response. So I went personally to the great store once again. It was then that they started looking at the status of my cheque. For 15 minutes I kept waiting. Then I approached Senthil, who finally said again that he would definitely have it by tomorrow. How shameless can one get…!  I was really really pissed off, and started shouting in the store. Ishraf then appeared and said that I have his word that the cheque will be in my house tomorrow. As if his word has any worth after all this.


I am sure I would not have it by tomorrow either. I would personally have to visit again. Why are such dumb and irresponsible and customer-Unfriendly  and Integrity-LESS people made responsible in such stores is a question I cannot answer!
