This is to give a review on my recent experience (rather ordeal) at ezone, Bangalore. I had visited eZone enquiring about a mini/ micro audio system. At the entrance itself, there were huge hoardings diplaying the availability of a gift (after using a scratchcard) on purchases of products over Rs. 5000/-. After checking out the products, we decided on a Sony audio system costing Rs. 6, 800/-.
On enquiring with the salesman, regarding the scratchcard, the salesperson indicated that the offer was not valid on Sony products. After telling him that the same is not mentioned in any of the hoardings, he expressed his inability to provide any help and rushed over to the supervisor. The supervisor came over and stated the same. We told the superviser that the same should have been cleared stated on the hoarding, that the offer is not available on Sony products, to which, he mentioned, that there is a clause of Conditions Apply at the bottom and gave a huge grin.
Upto this point, things were still fine and bearable. It gets worse after this, he then called the store manager/ executive and this persons behaviour was downright outrageous. He behaved as though, ezone was some government supplier of the 70s and customers were poor souls who should be expressing gratitude at the offers provided. The person was rude and totally illmannered. He just said..the offer is not on sony products and on enquiring why the same is not mentioned, his answer was that is why we have put a conditions apply, if you want to take it, take it.
We felt totally insulted and just walked away. The thing that clearly stands out, is the kind of values and customer service that the store instills in its employees, and certainly manners is not on their training calendar. After this insult, I for sure am going to stay away from this store.
The one thing good about this store, is the range of products available, so you may want to check out the various products over at the store, but leave the purchasing part to somplace else
