Dont let the dark, dingy location - the middle circle of Connaught Place - scare you away from this fabulous restaurant. Go in time as you may have to wait for one of the 8 tables. Taped flute music and water spilling into a small fountain are soothing, but the decor takes second place to wonderful Chinese dishes that are either steamed or stir-fried in a minimum of oil. Many ingredients are imported, and the condiments, sauces, dumplings, and noodles are prepared daily. Try the delicate steamed wonton, honey chicken, fish steamed with black beans and ginger, or shredded lamb with garlic sauce; and if you have room, dont pass up the homemade date-coffee ice cream.
