We bought Faber chimney(glassy silk LTW) on 31st August. Installation was quick. But the chimney didnt work after the technician left after installation. After many many reminders, technicians turned up twice to repair.
Second time it started working but the buttons on the control panel soon(with the first use itself) caved in. Now the buttons are so inside that it is very difficult to operate. Faber should have replaced the chimney in the first place - as it was evidently a defective piece.
Their call center folks are also not cordial and responsible. We had experienced this when we had bought a Faber hob earlier. As the core cutters that the local dealer sent also were not up to the mark, we ended up having a disfigured kitchen wall too.
No clue what to do. May be consumer court?
