I had some time back purchased 2 Faber Chimneys. When the service person came to install the chimney we found that one of the parts required during installation was missing in one of the boxes. After lot of follow ups and calls we were finally provided with that part. So unless you are capable of checking each accessory properly then you are in a danger zone.


After 10 days of using the push buttons in the front panel started breaking in one of the chimneys. Clearly a quality issue. After 30 phone calls to their customer care centre finally the mechanic came to inspect the same. After another 20 days when nothing happened we again called the customer care and this time it was lot smoother. I had to just make 20 phone calls and my complaint was attended promptly!!!


We were charged for the replacement and even though it was clearly a quality issue we were made to pay for the replacement. This part I was rudely told will not be covered under warranty. After few days we noticed that the chimney was making noise, the push buttons were not working properly and the same cracks again started appearing. After again some 40 calls we were told that the part will be replace free of cost as they admitted it is their mistake and other issues will be resolved. I am still waiting and hope that it will be set right.


One advice: Go for this product only if you have no other option. With such pathetic customer service and after sales service no one in the right frame of mind should go for this product.
