Outlet for the fumes from chimney

Recently I had to buy a chimney for my house kitchen .  variety of options were available & all looked

very nice but also exorbitantly priced. Most of the sales people took pains in explaining the features

such as superior copper finish , easy-to-maintain stainless steel body, baffle filter.

, very convenient to clean, also available complete package-with hob, rfinally  i have bought a glassy

isola chimney from faber (750m3/hr). the position of the chimney is such that the outlet of the duct

will bev at 18 feet away. will it be efficent ? what will be the cost of the tubing? can anybody tell me ?

the person who came to check the kitchen said that we can go for filters  without ducting. but I

thought it may not be efficient. my kitchen is 10feet by 12 feet and is open.

i had an offer of casa chimney with black coating. but I thought a steel hood would be better. gilma

also has a isola chimney. but after reading the reviews I think I escaped narrowly. but somebody told

me that gilma is made in china and is very cheap. I also have purchased a hob from faber with 3

burners. can somebody tell me if a 2feet chimney can remove fumes from a three burner hob ? I will

tell my experience of installation in my next review.
