*My Opinion on Social Networking
*In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with social networking. You can find people with similar interests as yours and have discussions with them thereby taking more insight into your passions\interests with your so called netmates.
For me, Social Networking is a tool which -

Reunites with good old friends
Let you keep in touch with your present friends
An innovative way to maintain your friends and friendships

Facebook is just another social networking website having several features similar to orkut and other such websites. Here, I would like to give stress only on the feature which is the USP of Facebook i.e. Third Party Applications.

This one feature boasts of bringing Facebook level above other social networking sites. These are small applications (as in utility like calender, notepad et al) made by people (developers) who does not belong to Facebook, which can be integrated with your facebook profile.
