I joined facebook just like other sites. Came to hear from a feed that it is much better. I tried searching my old batchmates, and was able to find out an appreciable few. I have been building useful contacts.
The best part is that you can have a graphic equalizer of your friends activities as easy as you tune your stereo. So you can see what activity of which friend you prefer. Also you can go to various other networking, blogging, picture and video site, for example if you favorite a view on you tube, or digg a favorite news, or follow someone at twitter, you will have it shared with your friends automatically using feed.
You can upload your family photos and customise them to share with your selective friends-not all so that privacy is maintained. If you feel abused you can report abuse too.
You can also tag your old friends in photos and share. So go on and enjoy. But don’t spam or send zombie sort invitations.
