On Sunday evening I was in Andheri and wanted to catch-up a film with my friends. I was suggested to go to Fame Adlabs. My pal who suggested the theater said that it’s a fun place to be in: choice of movies, good ambience and a live DJ at the lobby who gives out lods of prizes. The recommendation was quite impressive and we decided to watch Intolerable Cruelty. When we reached there I was marveled with the way the whole place was organized. First of all, without any calls from the black marketers, we were able to get the tickets, which in itself is an achievement. My first impression was that the tickets were over-priced but after going through the entire experience of watching the movie at Fame Adlabs, I can now comfortably say that it was worth every penny. More so because for the price of the tickets my friend & I was enrolled to be the privilege members which will entitle us to discounts, invitation to premieres and opportunities to participate in contests. The best part of the entire experience is that, next time, for tickets I don’t have to come to the theater personally. I can go and book myself on the net or through SMS. At first I could not understand how to use these ticket-booking services but the customer service lady at the counter was extremely polite and explained to all of us patiently. She also gave a live demo of how to SMS for booking tickets. I don’t think any other place in Mumbai offer such king of services. My friend was right. Fame Adlabs definitely is the coolest place to hang out in Andheri. I envy the people residing in the near vicinity who have the luxury of watching movies at a theater like Fame Adlabs. Why don’t all other theaters take a lesson of service from these guys?
