Fir se Jabra Fan Ho Gaya

I have always been an ardent fan of SRK. Among the three khans of Bollywood, he has the best acting skills and can perform difficult roles with ease. However, since past few years, the kind of movies he did turned me away from him. You could see minimum acting abilities in his recent movies. He chose to remain stuck to his comfort zone and that had an adverse impact on his fan-following. Fan, however, brings him back from the ashes.

Gaurav Chandna( SRK) is a resident of Indra Vihar neighborhood of Delhi. Almost every waking moment of his existence is spent in idolizing his hero Aaryan Khanna( again SRK). Such is his obsession with the star that Gaurav’s room is plastered with the photos of superstar Aaryan Khanna. Winning an award for his mimicking antics, Gaurav decides to embark on a journey to Mumbai to meet his idol.

It is here that the story gets interesting. Gaurav finds out that the star he idolizes is not as good as he seems to be. His goodness is superficial, only to mask his dark persona. A bitter meeting between the two leaves Gaurav frustrated. Now, he decides to use his lookalike persona to exact a revenge.

Even though the movie has a lot of plot holes, SRK’s performance holds it together. He has been superb in his portrayal of both the superstar and his lookalike. Since the movie has no songs, the average viewer may find the movie slightly overwhelming at times.
