This film was undoubtedly one of the most awaited of they year for 3 main reasons (I) Aamir Khan after RDB (II) Kajol making a comeback after nearly 5 years (III) Last but not the least YRF banner.
So the question is was FANAA worth all the wait ??
.....and the answer is NO!
Fanaa in a nutshell is a good concept gone haywire...
The first major drawback of the film is its length... I thought we stopped making 3hrs film?? I guess I was proven wrong with Fanaa.. I think the film could’ve easily been done without atleast 2 or 3 songs.
Another sore point is that the story moves on a speed of a snail.. Except some funny scene there is nothing to talk about in the first half..
Entering the second half.. one expects fireworks but there too viewers are left disappointed as the second half is full of flaws and uninspiring songs.
As far as the performance go Aamir Khan stands out! His performance along with his chemistry with Kajol is the only is the only good element of the film. He is sole reason to watch Fanaa.
I have never been fond of Kajol but she was good here looked very gorgeous.
Supporting cast was ok!
The film might appeal to SOME diehard Aamir Khan and Kajol fans but otherwise avoid it at any cost and if ur still curious about the film then buying a DVD would be ideal instead of going to a theater..
