Lost my TRUST on Fashionandyou.com - DISASTER

I would share A QUICK review specifically on how fashionandyou.com is losing it’s strength, service levels, commitments etc. It is bound to go southwards and lose all it’s customers eventually to all other sites.


My latest experience was not even funny.


I Ordered on 1st September with Number 802047 for a Bag worth around 5799/- paid by Credit Card. Today is 11th October and there is NO NEWS. the customer support says it would be delivered SOON. The commitment was 3-4 weeks. This is a case of complete failure with no surety. I am not sure if they are actually going to deliver the same and probably cancel it last moment. I had planned to gift this to my wife in the 1st week of October BUT THANKS TO fashionandyou.com, this cannot be done. this is frustrating and not worth it.


I ordered tshirts on 6th September with Number 816200 on COD this time to test their deliveries, but there was no news again on the deliveries till I called up and sent emails to them on 1st October. They said that they would get back soon and when they got back, they had the most crazy statement "We have cancelled the order on the 20th September". I asked them that if it was their duty to inform me on phone or email that this order is being cancelled due to XYZ reasons BUT there was a silence from their side. Then I mentioned to them as why it is showing that the stuff is in Transit/to be despatched, again they were surprised and had no answer. They again said, we would get back to you soon on the dispatch of the bag.


Phew! this is a shocker in this world of ecommerce when this company is reasonably funded and can stock goods as and when required.


I am impressed by the services of less or no funded sites on deliveries and commitments like

I wish fashionandyou.com all the best that they survive and work on keeping the customers a bit happy. I am sure I can get more vocal and use other modes and media to make sure people know more about the quality of fashionandyou which SUCKS!

I am also observing one more thing based on experience from another F&Y customer and myself (not sure but possible) i.e. they are working as a Groupon/Bulk order model (which they are not declaring) i.e. if they receive an order for only few items for a deal (and not a complete sold out) which is high-ticket item, they probably are dishonoring their commitments SINCE probably they might be back-to-back committed to their suppliers for a big quantity.


I am looking as one of the victims of that deal and so are many others.


is there anyone whose orders have not been delivered and the time has passed beyond 30 days or 45 days or 60 days?


Also I want to FIND OUT if they have EVER pro-actively called you to share the delay?


Are they waiting for us to get frustrated and cancel the order?


But now I am getting adamant to that I need my order no matter if they need to pay extra to their suppliers as basically F&Y seems to be using the funds of the pre-paid orders for something else? It sounds funny but we don’t know what is going at their end.


I am serious guys, if you need to try some good branded product sites,

FINALLY THE BLOW HAPPENED GUYS!


F&Y guys called me and said "Our supplier has not completed the deal, so we won’t be able to supply you the bag".


Isn’t this convenient?


This is my 3rd item in row which is being cancelled after a wait of 30-45 days and that also WHEN I CALLED THEM OR BUGGED THEM TO REACT.


It seems anyone can start such a F&Y model site and show any crazy brand deals; and when you get a decent size of orders from the users, go to the supplier and ask them if they can supply at these rates and if NOT, then don’t supply to the buyers ELSE you anyways get a deal. Ha ha!


RIDICULOUS SHOW!


I was even expecting a simple statement of solid apologies and saying that we would get another deal for you or something as a courtesy saying you have suffered a lot and maybe you should get a free shipping voucher and we would ensure that you don’t suffer in future. I mean something as an admittance that these things don’t happen but it seems it happens often for them.


I am too bugged with their reaction and support.


Any inputs from you shoppers?
