Worst Shopping experience with FashionAndYou.com

I want to bring to your notice an unpleasant incident with this fraud online shopping site FASHIONANDYOU.COM that has now forced me to refrain from DOING ANY online shopping in future.


I ordered for a set of 3 ceramic bowls(Cost: Rs. 699) from this fraud site FASHIONANDYOU.COM. I IMMEDIATELY got a phone call from their sales executive for confirming the purchase even though I ORDERED ONLINE.


On 17th Dec 2012, I received the courier. When I opened the packet, I found one of the bowls broken. I immediately informed these people on phone that the product is damaged. I was assured that I would


get a refund for the same ASAP.


I also lodged a complaint online on their website. They replied me asking for a snapshot of the damaged product and NOWHERE IN THE EMAIL DID THEY MENTION THAT I HAVE TO RESPOND WITHIN 3 DAYS OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME THE COST.


When I sent them a snapshot of the product on 1st January, they told me that the refund is now not possible as I am too late in sending the snapshot. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHY THEY DID NOT CALL ME UP, I WAS TOLD THATSINCE I WAS COMMUNICATING THROUGH EMAIL, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A CALL. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHY THEY CALLED ME UP WHEN I ORDERED ONLINE, THEY HAS NO ANSWER.


I CAN ONLY CONLCUDE THAT WHILE SELLING THE PRODUCTS THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT ATTITUDE AND WHEN A CUSTOMER WANTS TO RETURN A DAMAGED PRODUCT WHICH IS OF NO USE, THEY HAVE A COMPLETELY RUDE, SNOBBISH AND INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE.


I ASKED THEM TO CONNECT ME TO A SENIOR SUPERVISOR SO THAT I CAN VOICE MY CONCERN, BUT WAS MADE TO HOLD THE LINE FOR 15 MINUTES AND NOBODY ANSWERED THE CALL AFTER THAT.


COMPLETEY DISGUSTED AND HEARTBROKEN, I VOWED NEVER TO SHOP ONLINE AGAIN.


MY ONLY FAULT IS THAT I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE RETURN POLICY(of 3 days) OF THIS FRAUD WEBSITE BY NEITHER THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE OF THIS FRAUD SITE NOR BY SUPPORT TEAM WHICH SENT ME THE EMAIL. I WAS EVEN QUESTIONED WHY I DID NOT READ THEIR RETURN POLICY MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE. NOW I AM LEFT WITH THE DAMAGED PRODUCT WHICH IS OF NO USE TO ME.


THE ONLY THING I CAN DO IS TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN NEVER TO BUY FROM THIS FRAUD SITE FASHIONANDYOU.COM.


INFACT THIS INCIDENT WILL NOW DETER ME TO STOP SHOPPING ONLINE FROM ANY OTHER SITE AS  I DONT WANT TO BE CHEATED AGAIN


SO MANY TIMES, WE ALL GO TO SHOPPING MALLS AND MAKE PURCHASES AND THINGS LIKE THESE HAPPEN TO US. NEVER HAVE I BEEN TURNED DOWN BY ANY RETAILER LIKE THIS EVEN AFTER THE STIPULATED TIME PERIOD FOR RETURN IS OVER.


This FRAUD SITE FASHIONANDYOU.COM still needs to learn lessons in marketing and customer retention.


THEY SHOULD REMEMBER THAT CUSTOMER IS AT THE CENTRE OF ALL THE BUSINESS AND MUST BE RESPECTED.
