I took a taxi from Perambur Station. When got in to the taxi, I had to ask the driver to turn on the fare meter, which was supposed to be turned on without the customer’s demand.
We started from Perambur Station. I told the driver my destination. Starting from Perambur Station he took the Perambur fly-over and came back to the point where started just to add a few meters to the fare meter.
I asked him to reset the meter or I would get down at the station, the place where I started from. On demanding him to reset the meter, he finally reset the meter and he decided to take the longer route to reach my destination. Now I lost my cool, screamed at him to listen to me to reach my destination.
Be careful when you hire a taxi.
