I wear sunglasses like Karunanidhi does:-). Even while indoors and during evening times also. I switched to Fastrack after I lost or damaged few Ray Bans. It was getting hard on pocket.
I bought 05 pair of Fastrack Sunglasses over a period of last 02 and half years. Right arm of one of the Sunglass wore-off / loosened within 03 months of purchase. I gave it back for repairs / replacement which they promptly took. It was repaired and given back to me. Again after some time, it became loose and’fell off’ while I was wearing it. Couldn’t find it. The sales outlet at Big Bazaar Tarnaka told me that I have to provide that’felled off’ loose arm which I obviously couldn’t as the Sunglass had kept steady even after one of the frame arms had fell off and I didn’t even notice!
Anyways that was crazy. I told them that they hadn’t repaired it properly in the first place. But they refused to help. AND IF YOU WRITE MAIL TO FASTRACK CUSTOMER SERVICE DIRECTLY WHICH I DID, THEY DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO REPLY.
In the second one, the tiny rubber pads of the nose bridge(which rest on the both upper sides of the nose) slipped and fell off. I asked the Service to give me new ones on PAYMENT basis. They said that they don’t have these items or spares. Here goes my another Sunglass out of use for such tiny issue:-(
Other 03 are still OK fortunately!
Only USP of Fastrack Sunglasses is its PRICE. But now there are plenty of brands out there. I have started looking for other options and reasonably priced Brands. I don’t know regarding the service aspects of other brands yet. You can suggest also. I keep buying Sunglasses for myself and for gifting purposes. I MUST also mention that during my 10 year use I had no quality issues with Ray Bans.
