Fear Of The Dark, released by Maiden in the late 92 is, was and will remain to be the best Studio Album ever brought out by Maiden. With songs like Be Quick and Be Dead, Wasting Love, Fear of the Dark....Maiden have perfected the art of guitar dueling.....that is the two guitarists, Dave Murray and Ganick Gers play twin leads at different pitchs tryin to out do each other. Incedently, Maiden is the currently the only fullfledged band to have a THRIPLE LEAD BREAK....which includes the ex guitarist Adrian Smith.
Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris have out done their lyrical excelence.....Afraid To Shoot Stangers is one of the examplatory lyrics which dwells with the fright of the soldier who has the butterflies.......Murray has out done himself with the amazing lead in this song....
Chains Of Misery is yet another outstanding number in this album.......Wasting love......now I dont have to tell you about this song if you are a fan of the Maidens....amazing leads....high vocal range and amazing riff styles....Harriss running bass, which is the backbone to this band, has been able 2 get into the deep dark groove of the lyrics and give the songs an amazing punch. A Must Buy....and if luck hold it will become an collectors item some time in the near future
