This is the second time that delivery by Fedex is messed up. For some reason, shopping.indiatimes.com trusts Fedex to deliver the packages and Fedex is absolutely callous about it.
I ordered a Karbonn Android tab from Indiatimes on 15-Aug. Fedex claimed to have picked up the package only on 19-Aug, while Indiatimes started showing the AWB number from 17th itself. After Aug-20, Fedex stopped updating the status of the package. It took an angry email to Indiatimes to update the status.
Apparently, it takes 5 days for a package to arrive from Delhi to Hyderabad. Even if they had sent it by Indian Railways, and the train was 24 hours late, it still wouldn’t have taken so long. Did they send via Bullock cart?Then there is the issue of fake ’loaded into delivery van’ and ’address incorrect’ status message. I mean come-on, what will it take to get the package delivered?
My house is even listed on Google Maps and Wikimapia! Do I need to send a certified copy of my Aadhaar card or what?
