Femina , as the name implies , feminity is related to a woman. This is a womans magazine on every aspect of life, from beauty treatment to health problem or work place or relations etc.
Personally I feel its a good magazine in its presentation and layout. And I have always learnt new things. This July Edition contained an article on 5 medical tests women have to take.
First one being the blood test, since a lot of women suffer from anemia for which they might not be aware of. Secondly breasts test, since there has been an alarming increase in breast cancer. Thirdly the Mind check, women suffer from depression, menopause etc which accounts for a drain on energy levels, physoclogical addictions, overreactions and feeling of inadequacy. A study revealed that 50% of women in the age of 15-35 yrs suffer from some form of depression, less then 10 % of these cases are reported. fourth one being the bone density scan and fifth the pap smear for the prevention of cervical cancer which affects women in the age of 35-50 yrs.
This article has been enlightening for me and will help in living a healthy life and also prevention of any diseases.
I was also interested in Whats in, whats out columns where I saw the beautiful collection by oysterbay, floral to foliage patterns ranging from rs 995-4085.
The article on Mobile mania HAS helped me in what I should keep in mind, before selecting a mobile for purchase.. The features being call identification, keypad lock, one touch dialling, phonebook, last number recall, easy volume control and battery signal indicator.
Its informative. And in one of the previous editions, I was suprised to hear that women are more prone to heart attacks and eating of tomato yellow seeds is a good way of prevention.
Though I do not believe in astrology , im drawn towards the last pages where I eagerly scan my forecast:pisces. When good things are written we tend to beliieve them .....though only God knows how true it is
