From the beginning I have a special kind of liking for anagrams(a word or phrase formed by transposing the letters of another word or phrase). And the number 17 gives me another shot at trivia.
For example, 17 is “15+ 2”. Play with the order of words & what do we get? “2+ 15”….Try it…. it works. I am sorry to tax you all with mathematical excursions, but since its my 17th review I thought I should start my review in an interesting way…….
**My Review:**
When it comes to enhancing our luck people tend to believe in almost anything.**Feng Shui** & Vastu Shastra(Indian version of Feng Shui) has taken advantage of this human weakness. No doubt, Feng Shui has gained tremendous popularity in the past few years but I still think its not genuine. People often tend to believe that Feng Shui is the only thing that influences a person’s luck.But like a devoted skeptic I never believed that Feng Shui can change our luck. Nevertheless, to enhance my personal luck I tried some of the remedies prescribed by Feng Shui.
I am not a superstitious person(touch wood). But I try anything to improve my personal luck. I even tried Vastu Shastra but found it worthless. Yes, it did work wonders for some people but some how it never worked for me. Then one of my friends suggested me Feng Shui.
Well, for starters Feng Shui is a practiced based on 5000-year-old Chinese Philosophy. According to Feng Shui, there are 5 elements in nature & these are wood, fire, earth, metal & water. Feng Shui says that these 5 elements are inter-related in 2 ways, that is as follows:
1) The productive Cycle
2) The destructive Cycle.
Feng Shui is all about using the natural resources(remember the 5 elements) to its optimum uses even without destroying it.It guides people to live in peace & harmony with our natural surrounding.Literally translated, Feng Shui means’wind & water.’Though the art of Feng Shui is 5000-yrs old, only some minor changes has been done to its basic principles over the years.We all know that there is 3 kinds of lucks ie 1)Mankind luck 2)Earth luck & 3)Heavens luck…… & I personally feel that Feng Shui has no powers what so ever to change our luck which we are born with. Nevertheless, I still use Feng Shui in my daily life & hope one day it will bring me good luck & prosperity.

1)Laughing Buddha…
2)3-legged frog to increase prosperity…………I bought this frog to magnify my prosperity…………& it did bring prosperity for the shopkeeper from whom I bought it…
3)Musical Clocks for the soothing effect it has on our souls.
4)Chinese coins to increase our fortune.
5)Windchimes for enhancing good luck in the house.
6)Phoenix for success.
7)Dragon for Good luck.
8)Agarbattis for cleaning negative energy.
9)Love birds for relationships & romance.
10)Bamboos for luck………& the list goes on & on & on.
I agree that never 2 opinions are same.Maybe what I don’t agree are believed by others.Instead of Feng Shui or Vastu Shastra I totally believe in destiny.God created this universe & I reckon you should have full faith towards his fair dealing, rather than believing in short-cuts like Feng Shui.
